    Le lobby et l'Orchid lounge ont été récemment entièrement rénovés avec beaucoup de gout et un agréable éclairage. Nous avons subi une seule fausse note pendant notre séjour:nous avons été surpris, au restaurant l'Orchid lounge, d'avoir été facturés pour l'eau normale et pour laquelle il a fallu réclamer des glaçons, alors que dans les autres restaurants de l'établissement, l'eau glacée est automatiquement servie avec des cruches.. J'ai signalé ce point dans ma fiche d'évaluation de l'hotel. par ailleurs dans ce même restaurant, ce soir l, le personnel n'était pas aimable et semblait être laissé sans supervision! A part cela, je dois dire que cet Holiday inn est un excellent et agréable hotel très bien tenu, avec une excellente restauration et un personnel très efficace et l'écoute des clients.

    emplacement ideal sur Silom Road - main lobby superbe - hotesses efficaces. proprete salle de bain sans reproche. le cote negatif est la piscine sans trop de verdure.

    Que des points forts au niveau des equipements mais j'ai ete surpris par la tres mediocre qualite de la nourriture et du buffet proposes aux petits-dejeuners. Pas de renouvellements/changements et peu de choix disponibles (par exemple j'ai deja sejourne dans un 3 etoiles a Bangkok avec tous les matins un choix de specialites thailandaises cuisinees et des mets conventionels).

    Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un excellent hôtel, très bien situé. Les récentes rénovations du lobby et du restaurant attenant sont très réussies et ont préservé le caractère élégant de l'établissement.La restauration, très satisfaisante pourrait toutefois être amélorée en qualité et en variété. A noter l'extême gentillesse du personnel.

    Pendant des années jusqu'en avril 2006 nous avons fait un éloge appuyé de cet hôtel. Cinq mois après,nous révisons notre jugement. Commentaires: Les travaux de rénovation des locaux du rez de chaussée se sont poursuivis. Du point de vue decoration, le lobby, l'orchid lounge,le bar;et la Brasserie forment un ensemble très réussi et de bon goût. La Brasserie, (autrefois le restaurant thai) a remplacé le "windows on Slom" appelé être utilisé pour des réceptions ou des conférences. La Brasserie sert donc pour les petits déjeuners et des buffets-déjeuners et dîners, mais il n'y a plus de nappes ni de sets de table et les sièges y sont très inconfortables; le personnel de cette Brasserie ne semble ni formé ni motivé et est dorénavant habillé tout de noir comme des livreurs de charbon!!! et enfin,la variété et la qualité des mets servisest en nette régression; par exemple, la station "pasta" a disparu de même que celle de la viande la découpe. Pour ce qui est de "l'orhid lounge" qui offre un mini buffet ordinaire dans l'après-midi et une carte très réduite pour les repas de midi et du soir, les nappes ont également disparu et l'eau fraîche(un symbole de l'accueil dans les pays chauds l'occasion d'un repas" est devenue payante, ce qui est choquant. N'ayant pas fréquenté le restaurant Indien(en étage) nous n'avons pas de jugement formuler Le service des chambres est devenu irrégulier et il arrive souvent que les lits ne soient faits que dans l'après-midi ! En résumé, nous avons été surpris des changements et très déçus surtout en ce qui concerne le secteur restauration car la qualité et les prix sont plus avantageux dans des établissements alentours. Tout ceci est fort dommage car l'Holiday Inn Silom jouit d'une situation géographique très intéressante et d'un cadre intérieur plaisant. Hélas, la standardisation en cours, dans la médiocrité, fait perdre beaucoup d'intérêt pour cet hôtel.

    EXCELLENT HOTEL; CHAMBRES GRANDES ETTRES CONFORTABLES; SALLE DE BAIN PETITE EN COMPARAISON; EXCELLENT SERVICE Superbe petit dejeuner servi en chambre 5 heures du matin !

    Lors de mes voyages Bangkok, aussi bien pour les affaires que les loisirs, ma préférence va pour cet hôtel. Le rapport qualité prix y est excellent. Ce n’est pas en Europe où je pourrai m’offrir ce luxe ce prix. L’accueil, l’amabilité du personnel y est supérieur. Le plus de cet hôtel par rapport d’autres de cette catégorie est le raffinement de la décoration.

    C'est un bon hotel au rapport qualité prix les personnels très aimables polis et éfficaces,l'endroit est très pratique car pas très loin de silom et trouver un taxi est immédiat vu le prix payer vaut mieux de prendre un taxi pour circuler Bangkok cause de polution sinon le seul point faible c'est la taille de la chambre pourtant j'ai prix un catégorie club mais parcontre une belle vu sur Bangkok.Content de séjourner dans cet hotel dans l'ensemble.
